Our local State Parks offer an amazing variety.

 

The closest park, just 17 miles to the north via Neuralia Road, is Red Rock Canyon.  Red Rock has something to offer anyone. Drive up to or take a serious hike to the amazing cliffs and rock formations that have been shaped by time.  No matter what time of year you visit, there is desert life to discover.

 

Thirty minutes to the west is Tomo-Kahni.  Here you visit an area where the native Kawaiisu lived and learn about their history.  Call to reserve a spot for seasonal tours.

 

South, within roughly an hour drive, in the Antelope Valley, are four parks to choose from.
